Hello and happy holidays to you all lovely ladies on this forum . I have inside tremors and shakiness( tingling ) all over my body , it gets worse over the past 3 weeks. its my 4th day of my period today I have fullness in my ears , wobbly and this annoying feeling . I have my annual check up coming up next week do you recommend any testing for this ? im thinking to check B12 , iron , magnesium level .i did MRI and nerve testing back in January it was clear . Thank you in-advance for all your advice . Beth

hello beth, i often get the shakiness, tremors & tingling and dont know that I'm short of anything as i take all the vitamins you mention so just put it down to another meno symptom. i also get the ear fullness that can last for weeks and makes me feel off balance, very weird and dont think these two symptoms are related. it can all be so debilitating at times when it all comes at once and i feel for you beth. sorry i dont have a magic answer to help but just wanted to reply to let you know your not alone. i think im getting more used to it after 10 years, hope its not around for you that long . take care

Thank you for sharing, Its so frustrating , i have fear to go out and do my normal things , God knows how long it will last πŸ˜”

Hey Beth...

Happy Holidays to you & your family, as well... Now to the business at hand: I, too, have experienced the shakiness; chalk it up to ANOTHER menopausal symptom! It is absolutely horrific and scary, to say the friggin least! I think it is ANXIETY overload & hormonal imbalance @ their finest. It too.. will pass! Make sure you are staying hydrated during this TUMULTUOUS time of your life. Be well, my menopausal sistah!

Thank you Vivian , i try to let it go but its scary at times. Yeah, i have to remind my self to hydrate .

Beth

i totally understand i too was so afraid to leave my safe haven i couldn't even go down the road without getting the jelly legs. im much better now but still can only manage small shops. i can only last a short time in them then want to get out. its horrible isnt it and no one would understand what were going through. you will improve but you have to be brave and push yourself then when you've done it you will be so proud of yourself

Hi there Beth, I hear you about the internal vibrations. It's so annoying isn't it, and honestly makes me anxious when I wasn't intending to be. I think caffeine and fatigue exacerbates it; coupled with palpitations and headaches, I am not a happy camper:(

Re ear fullness -- do your ears or jaw ache? Consider getting checked for temporomandibular joint disorder (a dentist or oral surgeon can do that). You might be unconsciously grinding or clenching your teeth and most ENTs will overlook this. Hang in there X

Absolutely true , im trying to push myself , but some days the new normal gets worse, i'm thinking how come being in 40's is like this 😟

i totally relate beth, i was healthy and well when i was 39! its horrendous, im feeling really down as myself and my partner both have a cold, and ive not had a period since having the copper coil removed nearly 2 months ago, im struggling to breath and my whole body hurts, grrrr wake me up when this is over, sending gentle hugs xx ps i have the tremors too, i had b12 shots last year, they made me worse xx

Thank you cat , i miss healthy me , just feeling fullness in my ear along the internal turmor all over my body + with other peri , i limit my caffeine intake , my dental appointment coming up i will ask some advise from my dentist , i have noticed my jaw hurts and gets tired when chewing gum . God bless .

Hi Toria , I was on b12 shot for 12 weeks i haven't seen much difference . Lets hope we will get better soon .

Beth

Hugs X Do you have palpitations? It often all boils down to anxiety.

Ugh that stupid breathlessness. Do you think yours might be reflux related?

yes and no, im being tested for allergic asthma and wanting an mri as maybe thoracic endometriosis xx

Yes, i got Palpitations and Gerd and many other you name it . I m so worried how i get trough the day and the night , hate to go to ER the dr's don't understand it at allπŸ˜”

I know:( When you put them all together, it can be so overwhelming.

I re-read what you wrote earlier and saw you mentioned gum chewing. Perhaps consider stopping that until you get your jaw checked out. Chewing gum and other chewy or hard things really stresses the jaw joint, so try not to. And be conscious of whether your teeth are touching -- did you know your teeth should never touch except when you are eating? One thing to try is positioning your tongue just behind your top teeth -- it helps keep your teeth a little apart.

Do your tremors feel worse at certain times, or you feel them all the time? Do you think they could be related to GERD?

do you also feel the shakiness in your head? for me I can even feel the tremors in my head , along with a lot of other symptoms :(

the termors is getting more frequent for the past 3 weeks im not sure if its related with my gerd i had endoscopy 2yrs ago it showed inflammation . I tried few meds didn't help it lowered my B12 instead . I have seen naturopathic , holistic approach drs both of them gave me tons of supplements tried few and no improvement on my health πŸ˜”. Thank you for your advice cat .

yes i do feel it the whole body head to toe + every time new peri symptoms , this forum helped me a lot to learn and to calm down wise its crazy .

Hang in there dear. I happen to be seeing my gynae today and will let you know what he says. Do you sometimes think it feels like that feeling when you are really hungry that you start to shiver and feel weird?
