Shall I up from 20mg to 30 - I'm nearly at week 6

hi
my doc advised upping dose to 30mg as 20mg hasnt so far helped me. should I persevere? so many people say different things! it’s for anxiety and ocd/obsessive thoughts. Any idea on how long it would take for 30mg to work if I did increase?

have you given each dose at least 12 weeks to work?

Oh no u better stay on the 20 MG not in on it long enough like 3 month at least
for some people it takes even longer
I would wait on 3 month then see were u at on this Celexa

from my experience, if this is your first time on celexa I don’t think 6 weeks is long enough to judge. 20mg is very low but it does help at that level. I would say 8 weeks for you notice slight improvement and a full 12 weeks to evaluate. Your body will adjust you just need patience.
