3 hours ago i started having severe sharp abdominal pain on the lower right part. It was in waves and was getting them every 2-3 mins and lasted about half an hour and now have stopped for about an hour or 2. I apologise if im just being paranoid but i would like to see what might have caused it. Does appendicitis pain stop like this? or is it just gases and im being paranoid?

If it hurts to put pressure on your stomach or it looks swollen on one side it might be your appendix , I went to the doctor when I had the same symptoms. I didn’t have it but If you get worried because of this pain I would go just to be safe.
Usually appendicitis starts in the middle and migrates into the right lower, also vomiting and nausea are symptoms, as well as a temperature. If your symptoms continue to get worse I would see a Dr, in the meantime just drink some boiled and cooled water incase its a stomach bug, giving your whole system a rest from food, and if it is appendix before they operate they are going to want you to be food & fluid free for 6 hours at least.
