Has anyone found shavers that work well with HS produced bumpy skin?
Sorry that I'm just now seeing your question. I started shaving when I was about 11 and am now 47. I've gotten bumpy skin on my thighs every time I've shaved for all of these years. I have tried cheap razors, expensive razors, men's razors, women's razors, and every kind of shaving cream and gel available. (Please excuse my lingo as I live in the U.S.) The only item I've ever used that seems to not cause the bumpy skin is coconut oil as a shaving oil. That being said, once it gets cold enough outside for me to wear long pants I don't shave my thighs more than once a month. Even though I hate the sight of my hairy legs and armpits, I don't get as many flare ups when I don't shave. Another thing I do is wipe my razor with rubbing alcohol before I use it.
