Shooting pain

Hi

after some standing around and light cleaning I found I had shooting pains up the top half of my leg plus groin pain. Found could not stand on leg very well. Had been walking around house without crutch although not always walking upright.  Is this just natural healing or something more sinister?

hilary.   I am 5and half weeks post op.

I was the same , perhaps you should use crutch a bit longer , I used one until about 8 weeks when outside . Sounds normal ?

I have shooting pains, tingling like pins and needles. It's in my good side mainly. Think it's nerves mending and have heard very common. I'm not pushing it with sticks, use one most of time until I feel I'm walking upright and really don't need.

Seeing specialist next week so will be asking about shooting pains.

HiYES.  HAVE GONE BACK TO CRUTCH TODAY

That's an indication you need to slow down and relax.

You're trying to do too many things at once.

Walking around your home is ok but then relax.

Sit down watch tv 20 minutes then relax.

After every activity, exercise place an ice pack in the operated area for 10 minutes. This will make you feel much better.

Thanks for advice.
