I’ve been looking online to see if anyone else gets shortness of breathe as a result of yawning but haven’t seen that yet. My case is that I yawn randomly, and then instantly I can barely breathe. This lasts for about 30 minutes, and it’s been happening more and more. I used to get it as a child, but it went away until as of late. If anyone out there has this same issue I’d love to compare notes as I haven’t found a solution to this yet.
About me:
Age: 33
Height: 6’3
Weight: 265
Activity: all over the place. I can be a lazy piece of crap all day, or just the opposite. 265 sounds like a heffer with cheese but I’m in pretty good shape. I can run a few miles, 17 pull-ups, 80 push-ups, 40 dips, fairly impressive stuff for a guy of my size.
-I drink roughly 2 large Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffees a day, Black. If this is the cause, that’s sucks, because I’m not giving it up.
-I work out 4 days a week. (I don’t know if anyone else with this, but while I work out I yawn literally every minute. Not during cardio, just weightlifting.) it’s very annoying, and I’m pretty sure at this point everyone thinks I’m fake yawning. You know what I mean. The fake nonchalant yawn people do to act like they aren’t experiencing an anxiety attack.
- I have alcoholic drinks 4 times a week.
-valsartan for high blood pressure.
I can’t think of anything else relevant right now but hopefully this will get the ball rolling. if anyone has any similarities or has any questions so I can find a link that would be awesome.
