My nail ripped off and ended up with a an embedded nail, after i take the nail off I start to notice the awful pain in walking and unable to wear any close toed shoes. I tried water compresses and ointments, should I be worried.

I know nails can be very painful but i will follow with a Dr for sure . You can get an infection in your bone in your toe .
