Should in get tested...

I had protected sex with a woman about three weeks ago that I didn't know. I noticed no visible signs of sore and or blisters before intercourse. Although we had no oral sex we did have intercourse, I know that there are certain sti that can be contracted even with a condom (herpes...). Over the course of these 4 weeks I haven't had any symptom except for some itching that has been sporadic and last only a few minutes. . Should I worry about getting tested? Can I have genital herpes without any visible signs or symptoms? How long should I wait to get the best result. I am now currently in a relationship that has advanced faster than expected and my partner wants our relationship to go to the next step but I worried.

Advice please.

Yeah you should get tested my current boyfriend showed no symptoms of herpes but it turned out that he had it and gave it to me it has been the longuest week of my life! You need to know.

I had no signs or symptoms at all. I had what i thought what was a pimple or ingrown hair and it opened and had a sore. I had my doctor do a blood test because thats the way to test for herpes and if ypu have it, it will show in your blood. Just to be on the safe side, if i were you i would get tested but thats up to you. Mine bumps were swollen and were painful. I hope this helps!!

Yes, getting tested should be a regular thing whether you are worried or not. There are so many things going around these days that chances are you have no.idea what youve been exposed to. Its better to be safe than sorry. You dont want to beat yourself up later on for not finding out so even if your concerns are minor it doesnt hurt to just check.

Yes, go and get tested becuz with u being in a relationship u dnt want to expose her to it and try not to go tht route with her until u get ur results bck and u sit and have a talk with her let her make the decision if she want to still continue on. Alot of us didn't have tht choice it was jus put upon us and thts the worse feeling ever so please go to the doctor rite away.
