hi ladies, its been 6 wks 2 days since my anterior repair , the past few days i have been getting a bit of pain now and again from my section scar from the inside at my right hand side , could this have anything to do with my cystocele repair , that one side has never looked as "healed" as the left side since i had my daughter but never really been sore before x
Your scar shouldn't be painful unless there is internal swelling irritating it or you've worn something that's rubbed against it.
Sorry helen to hear you still have some pain, never had a cesarean section, have now had anterior repair twice, while area around stitching can heal by 6/12 weeks the deeper healing of wound can take up to a year. Matron should be able to advise you much better than me!

If you shave you risk infection. It's not recommended anymore x

5th of june last year, its just right at teh startof the cut its a bit tender from the inside x
no dont shave, i was told do nothing down there for at least 7 days b4 operation x
yeah went well no problems apart from still getting some throbbing and i still have that bulge, i really hope it goes soon though xx
It is unusual and I'm not sure it's connected to your recent surgery but I could well be wrong. Have you any other symptoms such as a temperature, headache, feeling sick?
