Should this clear up with antifungal cream?

Hello, I got a friction burn 3 weeks ago from masturbation. Following this I was using soap under the foreskin when washing when I wasn't aware it was bad to do so. The red area at the base of the penis developed some white spot I have stopped masturbation and using soap since then but the symptoms have only slightly improved in 3 weeks. Being too embarrassed to see a doctor I looked online that it could be a fungal infection so I bought a tube of canesten from the pharmacy. I've only been using it for one day, applying it 3 times per day. What do you think?

Hyrocortisone should help

Update. I used the canesten antifungal cream for 7 days and it looked better. Picture below. (note that every picture I take it seems to look better on camera than it really looks)

However I then developed burning after peeing. The pain was bad so I was forced to visit the doctor. I showed them my penis and also pictures and explained the burning. They gave me antibiotics for the burning but since the penis looked OK nothing was really discussed for the skin.

It’s now a week after the doctors visit and the antibiotics have stopped the burning when peeing. I also stopped the fungal cream after the 7 days and the days following the skin was very dry. I think i may have been over drying it after I pee, dabbing it with paper and also just generally exposing it to air multiple times in the day. Checking progress etc.

I am now beginning to keep it under the foreskin for the majority of the day except when washing it once a day with water only. I have also started to apply coconut oil before bed. I think it needs to be moist to heal. There still seems to be a bit of peeling and whiteness still. It doesn’t smell bad anymore so I don’t think it’s fungal or infected. I’m hoping it’s new skin that’s starting to repair itself. More to come.
