I have been using crutches for 14 weeks following an ankle fusion operation. (7 weeks in a cast and 7 weeks in an aircast boot.) about a week ago I started getting pain in my left shoulder (same side as my bad ankle).. The pain is getting worse and I am losing my range of movement. I cannot ditch my crutches yet. anyone else had similar problems and any advice would be welcome
why dont you get a knee scooter to give your shoulder break?
Have you tried a knee scooter? It was a lifesaver when I was recovering from extensive foot and ankle surgery. I got mine for less than $100 on Craigslist
