ugh, so I am having shoulder surgery in a week. nurse asked if I have open wound. I said no but the. noticed my scare from month ago still has little scabbing where the stitch was (she was ok I had stitches month prior) anyway are they going to turn me away day of surgery!?

Not quite understanding your situation and question.
You had a previous ‘open’ shoulder rotator cuff surgery? And now you are having another surgery arthoscopic or open for the same issue? What exactly is the problem with your shoulder: rotators, labrum, bicep, etc?
In any case, it’s a good idea to trust your surgeon and be able to honestly communicate with them so the outcome is to your best advantage.
