hello, I suffer from sickle cell anemia. on my last results it says hemoglobin of 7, while the number of red cells is normal. how come i didn't lose my red cells but still have a low hemoglobin ? thank you for your help

Red blood cells are not as vital as white blood cells. White blood cells tackle infections and antibodies.
