I am on my 8th week of upping to 20mg have been doing really well x last night i have started with a sickness bug does this affect the tablets . I dont want a set back i managed to stay calm though it just seems like one thing after the other

Hi I was on it from feb last year put on 20mg did have a lot of side effects for the first 7 weeks managed to get down to 10mg . I was the perscribed antibiotics this feb which had a really bad reaction with me so was upped to 20mg again .I did have side affects to begin with really bad for the first 3 weeks then started getting better from there .I have had councelling this time downloaded an app and i have a 4 week course which starts next tuesday
It could potentially mean that you aren't getting the full affect of the Citalopram, if you are vomiting/eliminating it before you have a chance to fully absorb it. But, since you've been on it for a while now, you'll have enough already in your system that I wouldn't think it would make a difference unless you are sick for a week or so.
