I have just had heart surgery . And given iv. Cyclezine. I suffer from dystonia. I believe you shouldn't be given it if you have neurological problem? I had no coordination , trouble talking , walking, just kept seein circles, drinking gallons.. Notes on record, patient was disorientated, ha what a joke!. I will look at this yellow card. I haven't heard of it.
I sympathised with you, I was given Cyclizine and suffered dreadfully. I spend a week in the hospital as a result. I’m still struggling with some of the side effects... . I thought I was having a stroke, because the symptoms were similar. I was told that one of the hospital staff video tape me while I was experiencing the side effects. I was also told the video they took was for teaching purposes. Albeit, I never saw the video The specialist told me the symptoms were caused by Cyclizine.
I reported it on the yellow card site, but I heard nothing, I don't know if I can trust them, as I don't know who the organisation is working for!!
They want us to go away, but we should not give up.

Hi Glenn's. Sorry to hear you suffered more then me. In our intensive care unit ,there wear notices. No pictures or videos allowed. I wonder why? Iam only at post op 7 weeks. So not been back for post op appointment yet. If I get any answers, will post them. Re yellow card only just heard of it on this sight. I received email thanking for my report of them. I asume. They just collect data. Then pass it on to the drug producer. Or a medic le board, not sure. I would demand a copy of that video . Good luck.
Thanks. I was told they acted secretively with regards to videotaping me, as I was not coherent at the time. But I think I will ask for a copy of the tape.

if it was me and I had a video of the symptoms . And if I got a copy ,I would show people what it could do to you. But that's me. I hope you do get a copy if only for your own satisfaction .
Good Idea, but I have to get hold of the video first, I know how difficult it was for me to get hold of my medical report from the hospital. But I will write to the admission department and see what they have to say.

I know what you mean, it's like getting blood out of a stone. It can take months or years. I can't even see me getting any answers when I go to my post op.
Maybe we all need to get together and setup a website, that way we can find out how many people have suffered/died because of Cyclizine.
We need media coverage then the drug company and the government will sit up and take notice.
