So I've been steadily inserting Vitamin C now for 6 months I guess and the BVs been gone pretty much the majority of the time. But I've noticed a weird pattern and I'm maybe just reaching here but I've on two occasions contracted Trich while being in a completely monogamous relationship (He swears he hasnt done anything and I believe him, he wouldnt have the time to honestly.) Im starting to feel like maybe the trich is connected to the Vitamin C inserts... Has anyone else had the same problem ?
Has he been treated?
Both of you must be treated otherwise he would still have it, if you have had intercourse between those times of you having it.
And a partner must contract it elsewhere in order to give it to you.
Just in research this is what I have learned.
He's took the medicine right in front of me. I just dont know what it could be then and this was way back in the beginning of the year like Marchish when I retested in May everything came back negative.
If you havent had sexual intercourse with anybody else and were cleared and you saw him take the pills then he had to of re-contracted it. Thats facts. A lot of people dont know they even have it, so whoever she is just still has it and gave it back to him. Not stirring the pot, but if its boiling.. Ya gotta stir it.
And men... Make time.
You need to nip that in the bud.
This is a misconception! He doesn't have to be cheating. His pH may just be throwing hers off. Doesn't mean he's cheating! He could be completely faithful and their pH levels just don't work with each other.
Girl...BV sux in the worst way but let me give u just one piece of advice....A MAN WILL ALWAYS FIND TIME!!!! so you need to get to the bottom of it asap cuz if you're treating urself with the medication for Trich and u watched him take his and u got it AGAIN...more then likely he got it from the same person who hasnt treated themselves! just sayin....Good luck hun!!

but with trichomoniasis (trich) for short it is ️️an sti caused by a parasite so had to be caught sexually so if it is trich then there is a possible chance he is cheating,

Right, they are 2 different things. But both have that foul smell as a symptom. So I guess I'm hoping it's not him cheating and more of a pH balance issue. I've never had trich so idk how different it feels from BV. Idk him lol. So he very well could be cheating but I know a lot of us in the forum go off of what we've read and past experience. So I just hope she was tested for trich the 2 times she says she had it just in case it was her bv flaring up since the symptoms can be similar.
She said she contracted trich I assumed she went to the gp and got results maybe your right she could be assuming it's trich unless she states , I also have never had trich but when I contracted BV I googled my symptoms and found trich to be up there with the rest I only ever had bv once and it's never came back! Weirdly enough but I do now that about trich as I remember reading it being mortified Incase wjat I had was that , I didn't like the sound of parasite sounds scruffy and really unhygienic 😁
I'm with you! The word parasite makes my skin crawl! Watched too much Grey's Anatomy I guess. And I wish my BV never came back like yours. I've suffered off and on for over a year now. Before that, I had 1 case from using the wrong soap. Got treated and was problem free for 6 years. Not so lucky this time. It's brutal. I've been doing a treatment for the last month that seems to be helping though so we'll see. I definitely wish all ladies suffering the best because it's hard!

Well my bv came when I used Lynx for woman down there ️️an soons it came I recognised that this had happened b4 when I was younger but I didnt know about bv then and it lasted around a few days till it went away with irritation , but this time I blamed the Lynx but I also had sex with someone new without protection and I was blaming him for stis when every thing came bk ok the Dr said it was bv so I came home googled and found this place , this place has helped me loads and I have really learned a lot from it I went back the drs after batteling around 8-9 months and got a course of metronidazole which worked but at the same time I quite energy drinks and through all my old knickers away and it hasn't returned , I put on a new pair of mesh knockers few weeks ago and it was trying to come back so I think that can play apart so I went bk to my cottons and it went away again but Id also drank ️an energy drink to so could be any of those it's hard to pin point just have to know what's bad for your down stairs lol ️xxx
Honey, take him to the doctors with you. Embarrass him. Tell the doctors.. I THINK I KEEP CONTRACTING TRICH BECAUSE IM INSERTING VITAMIN C PILLS IN MY VAGINAL AREA TO TREAT MY BV. I GUARANTEE the doctor will look at you and tell you "THATS COMPLETELY ABSURD and YOU CAN ONLY CONTRACT A STI FROM SOME ONE THAT ALREADY HAS IT". He makes time. Trust me. He probably sleeping with another woman since he knows that you have this problem. That's very disrespectful & trifling if you ask me. Therefore either you are cheating or he is.
i am talking about Trich, she can only get that, and then recontract it from a "mongamous relationship" is if he is having unprotected sex with the person that has it and recontracting it then passing it back to her.
Also with much research BV is caused by many factors.
-overcleansing including douching.
-being sexually active greatly increases your chances of getting BV especially with an unclean partner, him coming in with his filth disturbing the balance inside the vagina is much more harmful on the body, with improper diet(sugar and carbs), wearing tight non cotton panties, scrubbing with scented soaps or cleansing too often especially if youre douching youre getting rid of all the good in there that MIGHT have tried to fight that bacteria off!
These make perfect conditions for a BV infection.
From experience I have stopped having BV since I did a borax insert, stopped over cleansing, and most of all stopped having unprotected sex. Hasnt come back. And I can still have my soda.

I've had it for over a year. Trust me I've done tons of research. I've tried everything from not having sex for 8 months (it did not go away), to vitamin c inserts to tea tree oil baths, changing my diet to cut out too much sugar. I've done about 10 or more of the remedies I've found online as well as going to the doctor. So far taking a combination of vitamins has been working. Started doing it over 2 months ago and so far, so good. But I do fear it will be another "it only works whIle you do it" type of thing. I missed a couple of days of vitamins when I went on a trip and forgot to pack them. Felt it rearing it's ugly head! That was about 5 weeks ago. Haven't missed a dose since and I'm feeling pretty much back to normal. Some women have luck and it's over quickly and some of us are stuck in the trial and error loop! It sucks lol
What are your combo of vitamins that you are taking ?
That's what seems to be most tough for doctors. They can't cure it because every woman is different. Mine flares up during my period. I'd treat it, it would go away and I'd be fine until my next period. I wasn't keeping my tampons in too long but tried pads just in case that was the problem. No relief. Tried several home remedies and none worked until I started taking a combination of vitamins. They seem to be working for now! Hopefully it stays away! I hope yours stays away too!
Yes we all get it differently I suffered for so long with it. Like it was a regular part of my life and just knew Id have to take the horroble pills from the doc that made me so sick. Just for it to be right back after having sex again. Ugh. Its such a pain. Really all we can do is offer insights but whether our remedy will work for someone else is never certain.. Still we try.
This community has helped me so much and I really have them to thank for the boric acid insert, worked on the first night didnt even have to complete full regimen and it hasnt come back.. I attribute that to protected sex truly I think it was him causing it alllll along. But what caused it for me may not cause for someone else.. Blah blah im blabbing now...

Vitamin B and D and a probiotic. Sometimes I take C but for some reason, I feel dizzy every now and again when I try it. I think the vitamin d is what's really working for me. I've been doing it for about 8 weeks. About 5 weeks ago I missed a couple of days when I went on a trip and forgot to pack them. So when I got back, instead of taking just 1 vitamin d, I took 2 each day. When I first started, my smell was getting better but not really normal. When I switched to 2 vitamin d pills a day, I started smelling even more like my normal pleasant self!!
It does suck but I'm glad the boric acid seems to have done the trick for you!! And I agree. I found this site about a year ago when the metro gel only worked temporarily. I got tired of getting swabbed and paying for doctors visits and antibiotics. This community has been amazing! I feel about 90 to 95% normal. If these vitamins don't completely do it, I will try the boric acid

I'm trying Vitamin C w/ Rosehips orally & insert the vitamin c. I just started today. So IDK what the results will be. But if it doesn't work, I'll try vitamin b & d. I'm really tired of this.
