Hi
I have been on 40mg for 16 days.....went from 10mg for one week, 20mg for one week and 30mg for 6 weeks. Just over 10 weeks all together.
I have been very up and down. Had very severe anxiety since going to 40mg but I think that is settling dow.
I am also take 45mg of mirtazapine.
I am waking up feeling very hungover but don t drink. Very tired and fuzzy. Is this a side effect ? It is very annoying and causing me to feel quite down I have pnd and an 8 month old son. It is very hard to function. I wake up every 2 hours.....I do go back to sleep but I feel so exhausted.
Will my sleeping settle and will I feel less exhausted in time ?
This is so hard. I am trying to keep the faith in these pills but it is so hard.
I was on cit but never really settled on it tbh im now on sertraline i think the tiredness from the mitrazapine will wear off in a few wks
40 mg seems pretty high, i was on the std. dosage of 20 mg for about 8 years, during which time it helped a lot - but double that dosage i would think could make the side effects more intense, which sounds like what you're going thru.
Hi Sarah, the waking up confused and hungover is a side effect for me too I think most definitely! It's annoying and confusing but thankfully passes as I get out of bed (usually) I haven't experienced much quite like it but you are not alone! Settling into the meds is different for us all, about 2 months later I'm still feeling some side effects but they have definitely calmed down, I had terrible insomnia the first few weeks but it has almost completely gone x
