Does anyone know what a sigmoidcele is? and what symptoms there is with it?
Sigmoidocele is descent of Pouch of douglas and refers to a condition where the sigmoid colon (which is higher up) prolapses into the lower pelvic cavity. This can obstruct the rectum and cause symptoms of obstructed defecation.
