Hello everyone. I've been on cit for close to 6 weeks now on 10mg. After about 3 weeks I was really starting to feel better, no anxious thoughts at all and was generally feeling positive.
When all the sudden 6 days ago time seemed to slow down and I was feeling very dizzy, not right. It's been like that for about 4 days. The last few days I've been feeling better, but one thing is still driving me nuts. I can't stop looking over at the clock to see how much time has passed. I seem to be worried that time I just passing too slow so I feel the need to check a lot.
Am I going through a blip or do I have OCD because I'm starting to freak out with those unwanted thoughts. Any feedback welcome pls!
Anyone? Really would like some feedback..
Hi,
there is a possibility Escitalopram can be wrong for you. SSRI Drugs all have an adverse effect on me. Dizziness is likely to occur with any of those. Once taking a medication you have to deal with the synthetic side effects, and also what it’s doing to your neurotransmitters.. not just Serotonin.
So Likely they will up the dose because you’re now used to the 10 mg but not stable yet.
I hate to say it but the world of psych meds is Trial and Error ... everyone reacts differently.
CIT for everyone else is Escitalopram .. is like Lexapro
Thanks for the reply! You could be right. I have a doctor's appointment in 8 days so I'll talk to him then. Im hoping this is just a weird blip and that I'll get through this soon. Fingers crossed!
