Simple Robotic Prostatectomy (2-Year Update)

Hello, Everyone: First & foremost, I am doing great 2-years post my Simple Robotic Prostatectomy (SRP) procedure in August 2018. This month (August) marks 2-years since I had the "*invasive*" procedure. I emphasize "*invasive*" because I understand most of you avoid this term and anything associated with it as it relates to remedies for suffering from BPH. If you have kept up with my posts over the past few years, I try my best to lessen the fear we all have with "*invasive*" steps and promote fixing the problem, not treating the symptoms. My problem was fixed 2-years ago. I no longer have BPH and the sufferings that go along with it. If we have done enough research, we know there are four (4) things that we want to always try to preserve when considering any procedure (invasive or not), and they are: - **Nerve bundles** - **Bladder neck** - **Sphincters** - **Urethra** With the SRP procedure, all of these were preserved for me, which means I have **NO** issues with the following: 1. Erections 2. Incontinence 3. Urgency 4. Frequency 5. Voiding My life today is I do not ever think about my past BPH problems. I drink as much fluid as I want, anytime, including right up to bedtime. I even take water with me to bed and set on my night stand every night. My stream is still as strong as it was 2-years ago right after my procedure and I was able to pee on my own. I void in less than 4-seconds (*yes, I time myself because it still amazes me*), and I do not have any urgency, frequency, or incontinence. Thank you for putting up with my continued passionate ramblings about this procedure. Any newbies that are interested in where I had my procedure, pictures of my removed prostate (all in one piece), and just privately want to chat, please message me and I would be glad to share. Take care, Dave
