Can I get further financial help as I will only be on ssp and am worrying now

The only person that can tell you that is the deep or your local job centre I personally am not sure what help you can get

Talk to JobCentre Plus about ESA - employment support allowance, also you might qualify for PIP - personal independence payment.  Or Look on the govt. website for both benefits.  Also you can get a prepayment card to reduce prescription costs.

Have you though of PIP? This replaces a mobility allowance, not sure which, but you can get extra help. It's personal independence payment and it couldn't hurt to apply.

You apply by phone then they send a questionnaire.I'm waiting for mine so I can keep you posted! X

Bril thanks. I'm going to get the forms and see what happens.

I haven't even applied for mobility or anything. I must admit I try to park close to shops because I cant walk too far!

This is all totally new to me and Imust admit I am getting nervous now about op. Think it is all starting to sink in!

As for the surgery, just get the ball rolling honey ... 

Have you been to an orthopedic surgeon already? xray taken? diagnosis ? 

Are you in pain?
