after i finished my period about a week ago, i noticed i could feel a very small bump on my labia minora. It has since grown and resembles a pimple. I have not had sex in the last few years, it is not itchy, it is only painful when i squeeze it. What could it be?
Should i speak to the doctor or monitor to see if it will get worse first
It looks like an infection in a Fordyce gland. They are quite common. Just keep it clean and it should eventually come to a head and then discharge. Dont squeeze or pick at it. If it should become very large or inflamed and uncomfortable then do see your doctor.
I get this too. Warm compresses help it shrink and eventually disappear.
