Saw my consultant this evening at 6 weeks and 5 days and he has given me the all clear. All restrictions lifted, but not to go mad!! At last I can sleep on my side.......which I hope means I shall sleep! He said I was exactly where I should be at this stage, and was quite happy not to see me again unless I develop a problem.
I walked up to my local shops today, in a howling gale(!) and thought I would be tired out when I got back, but coped really well. Maybe I can get on with turning out the kitchen now, its been bugging me for weeks.
Thanks to all the many people on here who helped with advice and support, you really are a lovely lot. I shall keep popping back, so you haven't seen the last of me.
Great to hear things are lookin up for you. Well done
i'm still ploughing through my physio, determined to show them i'm giving it. my best shot but not having high hopes. I understand that they are strengthening my muscles which is all good, but I'm unable to see how it will help the pain inside the joint which feels like bone on bone even thought my xray said moderate wear/tear.
