Which cream did your doctor give you? I’m guessing it is probably a steroid which should work if your rash was some sort of eczema. Can I suggest you try washing the areas in a dandruff shampoo with Ketoconazole or Selenium Sulphide as the active ingredient, leaving it on the affected area for 2 minutes then washing off with plenty of water. Do be very careful doing this around your eye. Dry the areas well and then use a cream with clotrimazole as the main ingredient. Use a small amount on each area and rub in well. Look for Canesten cream in your chemist/pharmacy. If this makes the areas worse then discontinue at once. You may have to treat the areas for a while before it clears completely and it may come back occasionally.
Hi Marina
My doctor gave me Lamisil cream which didn’t work!! I had another phone consultation to day and another doctor says it looks like Eczema and suggested I see my gp to arrange a patch test. Can you recommend any good cream for this?
