Hi all, me again
I took my methotrexate this morning and this is the third time that I've taken 15 mg and before I had no side effects, this time though I am feeling so sick and I have an under skin pimple rash come up on my right arm but no where else and I am feeling extremely sick. Also my feet and ankles have swollen up a huge amount. Has anyone else experienced this ?

i have experienced the sick feeling which is why I changed to injection, however I was told that if I developed a rash to contact your rheumatology nurse or doctor. Don't worry too much about it but get in touch with someone before you take your next dose.
I've been on MTX for 20+ years and over the years have read that others often have no effects at all the first few weeks and then, as the MTX accumulated in the system, have some effects [typically mild nausea].
Are you taking folic acid?
Would contact your rheumatoid arthritis nurse about rash.prob nothing to worry about. I felt nauseas and was told to space dose through day and that would help and it did.hope it does for you
