Sleep stages

Hi, everyone, I read up and watch everything I can related to this nasty Fabriomyalgia, now experts say that we never get to the grade 4 stage of our sleep, hence constant tiredness, yesterday I noticed that one member had commented on this, and also advised of what we are lacking when we don't get that much needed sleep and that there is a supplement that we can take, unfortunately my laptop had not backed anything up so have lost the post! 😐 Anyone else see it? Please reply

hello which is the best book to read in your opinion ,I need to read one thenk you

Type in Fabriomyalgia books and a list will come up, my favourite is living with and understanding fybromyalgia xxxx but there is quite a few

Melatonin will help you sleep but as they posted it depends on which one you take. I didn't have much success with the one I tried so I started doing magnesium. I had trouble staying asleep cause pain would wake me up several times a night. It helped by working as a muscle relaxer without the side effects. It stopped the restless leg and let me sleep.

Thank you so much, that's so similar to me. Xxxxxx

Hope it helps. I take magnesium calcium and zinc combo cause magnesium can deplete the other vitamins. 2 pills an hr before bed do the trick. On really bad days, in a flare, I also do a detox bath. It's a mixture of baking soda and Epson salt. I do the lavender Epson and it helps relax me even more.

many thanx trish i will look it up

If your looking for a more natural approach I read that tart cherry juice can naturally help your body relax to assist with better sleeping. I have been drinking 8 oz at about 7 pm for the last week I don't get in too deep of a sleep but I can sleep a little longer and awake feeling more rested.

No problem Denise, it's the lack of melatonin that makes us so tired and I know you can actually buy it as a vitamin, so I'm going to try that xx

That's brilliant Rachel thanks, I'm going to try everything. Xxx
