Thank you Renee. I love this forum where we can complain and celebrate and not annoy anyone. When I found forum pre op I'd tell my family things like I'll be on crutches for weeks and they'd say stop reading that stuff. Now they can't believe how much preparation I had done quietly due to forum. Making freezing meals/ getting a grabber/ slip on shoes etc etc. Now when I have to sit up during the night to ease bum, I go straight to forum and before long I'm dozing again.

Have a great day .

That's excellent, must feel good.

I slept really well last night instead of painkillers I put lavender oil on my pillow and dot on temples, behind ears and on wrists and one little dot below the nose seems excessive but a friend who does aromatherapy said to try it

Also well done on the amount of sleep you did get

well done, I had so been looking froward to lying on my side (7weekspost op) this week I was told I coul, and guess what I am back to the 2 hours sleeping and end up lying on my back cos I can't get comfy anywhere else. Getting better is such a funny thing it's like a big learning curve all over again

I have lavender air fresheners in my bedroom it keeps the mossies away while I sleep. id I can  xx

Well done you, what a treat

Sorted!

Great news

me too - I'm 11 weeks today and i can manage to stay on my side for 3-4 hours and then my knees start to really hurt - don't know why other than maybe I'm not moving about a lot - on my back the knees don't hurt at all! so for me it's start off on my side and in the middle of the night I get loads of pillows and a cage for my feet and it's back to my back!
