I know that many of us live with fatigue in our daily livets. I am curious if most people feel tired during the day because you find it hard to sleep at night and you do not get a good nights sleep, or is it that you sleep a good 8 hours at night and yet you are still tired the next day?
Had problems with waking up early for years, and generally find this is worse following activity that worsens the GS. So often find I'm having to get through the day with both primary GS symptoms and tiredness. If I get a decent night's sleep, however, don't have tiredness, just the GS symptoms (malaise, lethargy, headache etc).
After a bad spell with sleep recently, signed up for the online sleep resource 'Sleepio', which has really helped - slept completely normally for the last week. Requires quite a commitment though, particularly to keep to the sleep restriction.

I used to be able to sleep so well. Anxiety and insomnia has made a decent night sleep for me next to impossible. I feel during the day i could sleep for hours but i dont as i dont want it to interfere with my night sleep!!! This hasn't worked. 8 hours straight at night is an illusion to me.
In saying that though, even when i did sleep well at night i was still tired through the day and could easily have a nana nap! I think tiredness and fatigue is something we who have G.S have to deal with as best as we can. Ive had a good month or 2 but now feel the downward spiral approaching.
Perhaps you are Suffering from Some form of anxiety or Slight depressive Illness ?

It May benefit you to have a Standard blood test at your Local Surgery.
I guess you missed the bit where the above people have GS (Gilberts Syndrome). Fatigue and feeling very ill all the time are only just two of the symptoms of this disease.
