Had quite a good sleep last night. I wonder why. Ohhhhhh i know. I woke on my side!!! Im 4 weeks post op and supposed to be on my back. It didnt hurt at all. Was soooooo comfortable. I thought....why not. It doesnt hurt. Im not breaking anf midline or 90 rules. It was so good.
Yay! I know how great it is to finally sleep on your side again! Congratulations! Another milestone! I'm still more comfortable on my side with a pillow between my thighs or knees but isn't it wonderful to roll over onto your side. There will be more victories.
Yay !! I too had a few hrs on my side !! this is week 3 for me, so that was wonderful, but then I still go back to arms over my head & on my back again, I'm now getting 2-3 hrs sleep b4 bathroom trip time !!
My problem is time seems to be backwards, days sleep Nights awake, I think in time it will reverse. Good for you have a Great Sleep !!
good morning it is then !!!
what a relief, right ? I think that having a choice now you also will be so much more relaxed -
I am so happy for you - I still use my body pillow though - something to hug and to me, feels mor comfortable and secure.
warm hug

Hi
Which side did you slep on? The operated one? If so thats not so bad but if you lept on the other one with the operated one on top they say 6 weeks. Not because it hurts but because if your leg is in that position it could fall over and then you would be breaking the 90 degree rule. There is a possibility of dislocating it then.
I know its awful,.......I've had 2 THR's now and back sleeping is not my thing
