Slight spotting after intercourse

I’m 20 years old, and recently I’ve have very slight spotting after intercourse. The doctor told me not to worry too much and did me a cervical examination. She didn’t seem to see any reason as to why this would be happening as every ‘looked healthy’. I’ve been referred to gynaecologists at hospital but can’t help but worry! As I’m only young I’m pretty confident it should be anything sinister... any professional advice would be great! Thank you

Hey there. Have you had Sti tests such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea? It could very easily be a slight hormone imbalance if nothing is coming up as an infection! Xx

Hi, yes I’ve had those tests and all have come back clear x

Ok that's great don't worry too much perhaps ask for a hormone panel and see how that comes back first?
