Hi everyone ,well I've finally picked up the prescription from health centre ( prescribed by consultant 2weeks ago )
and it's called Slo-Phyllin ,it's for asthma and Bronchietis ,
as I gave NEVER heard of it I was wandering if any one on hear has been prescribed it and if it was any benefit to them ,
I hope to hear from you.
thanks in advance ,
It is a broncho-dilator and relaxes the muscles round the airways which should help your symptoms.
Hi thanks for your reply ,have you tried it ? It's just that I take such a lot of medication ,,,,I don't want to start another one if it's not worth it, I was put on Montelukast last year ,,,and I had palpitations so I went back on my ,tiotropium
Triotropium is also a bronchodilator. Are you taking medicines just for the asthma? Why did you need a new drug? Were you having problems with the current ones?
Hi ,again thanks for replying ,
I had a bad year last year repeated chest infections ,breathless, continuous productive cough ,so last yeR consultant put me on Montelukast ,,,but I didn't feel any benefit from it,also he stopped the tiotropium ,
I have asthma,Bronchietis ,mild emphasyma,copd,
when I went to see consultant 2 weeks ago I felt quite good ,no problems since end February ,and proud of myself for regular doing 2 Klm on treadmill ( from nothing lady year ) but I had a lung function test and he said I should have better readings than I had ,so he wants me try this one ,I have to say I was suprised ,
You poor thing, I hope things improve. It sounds like you must be quite fit with all that treadmilling!
Hi ,,,,this year ,,,????? So far so good,
