I had a late night of drinking and playing Video games over the weekend and the next morning I woke up and my right eye was sore. I didn't think anything of it. Assumed I played for a little too long and strained my eyes too much. But last night it was still sore so I went to go look at it in the mirror and there's this bump on the white of my eye right at the borderline of the color. Not sure what this is I've never seen anything like it. I can't even find a picture online that even remotely look similar. Does anyone have ideas?
It sounds like pterygium, but I don’t know whether you spend a lot of time outdoors. Although that condition is usually painless, it can cause irritation and vision trouble (maybe pain?).
You could have a nevus which is a freckle on your eye, it is painless and poses no problems unless it changes color or size. That would make sense with it being brown. Pterygiums tend to be more pink and stretch across a portion of your eye. It could also be a pinguecula which would be a raised up bump but they tend to be more yellow in color but I suppose it could give a light brown appearance. Hope this helps
I'm probably outside more then Inside. Wish I could share a picture on here. It itself isn't painful more irritating when I blink because it's slightly raised up. But it's a pretty dark brown. It also appeared out of nowhere overnight.
