Small hard lump near incision following gallbladder removal

I had my gallbladder removed via laproscopic surgery 2 weeks ago on 11/5. I took one week off of work and tried to avoid heavy lifting upon my return. However, I had to lift the 30lb child I take care of in and out of crib once per day for 3 days.
All of my incisions are healing great, but I have noticed a small hard lump beside my top incision. It hurts in certain positions or when I apply pressure. It is not visible, but I can feel it with my fingers. I am not able to see my surgeon until next Monday for a diagnosis.
Has anyone else experienced this? I am scared it might be an incisional hernia since I did do a small amount of heavy lifting one week after surgery, but I am hoping there is another explanation for what it could be (maybe scar tissue or something?). Since I noticed the lump, I have been much more strict about not lifting anything over 10 pounds.

Please let me know your thoughts and advice!

I had the small hard bump as well but it has gone away and I am 3 months out.

No worries it is what you said. Scar tissue and wound healing. You should not lift anything. You are healing please no lifting. Good Luck.
