I have been weaning off citalopram for the past year as in peri menopause . I only ever took 10mg . My anxiety symptoms starting creeping back in , so my husband suggested I increase it again . I was taking the tiniest crumb . The past two evenings I have taken a bit more and now I feel so poorly , migraine , shaking , nausea , ache all over , hot and cold . Could a tiny dose more cause all this ?
I believe any increase will give you symptons as I remember if your prone to them compared to others, Combined with anxieties already will also make things feel worse physically also but they will subside eventually maybe even within a few hrs.

Yes. Increasing definitely causes symptoms. I was also on a tiny amount, 2.5, for a year, then had a bit of a relapse. Currently back on 10, but every increase has had an impact. Today I feel like I have a cold and I k ow it's from increasing from 7.5 to 10.
