Small ovarian cyst but extreme pain

So I've delt with ovarian cyst for 3 years now. I've had 7cm cysts that resulted in torsion previously. I have again the same symptoms and pulsing pain as previus times so i expected the same size. Today I had an ultrasound done and it is only 2.2 cm... why do I feel so much pain if it is small?? It even hurts to walk at times.

I was given contraceptives for only 3 weeks to dissolve. But this is recurring, should I be given another treatment?

hi! yes it is possible. This is my first time dealing with ovarian cysts and it is very painful. I only have a 2cm cyst but it causes me alot of pain. if you are narrow in your body structure it's likely to cause pain. I am also looking for treatment now, contraceptive did not work for me
