Small part of foreskin stuck on glans

Hi, I'm 14. I can't pull my foreskin entirely back because of a small part of my foreskin that's stuck on the glans. I can retract the foreskin entirely on the left side of the head, but the right side is partialy covered wirh foreskin. I have had this problem for one year and nothing has happened. I thought that maybe time will solve this, but it's the same like one year ago. What should I do? Should I go to a doctor or trying to manage myself?

I'm sure you have tried the long warm bath approach so doctor straight away.  Good luck.

Thanks!

At your age your foreskin should be totally free so as the other poster says you need a doctor to have a look.  By the time you are having sex with a partner your foreskin must be totally free or it may cause problems either for you or for partner.

Please get it checked and make sure something is done.

Thank you for the advice!

Magy, I must disagree to some extent with the two others who gave you their well-intentioned advice.

Your foreskin is still in a phimotic state, which is nature's way of protecting the glans (head of the penis) from exposure while it fully develops. In your case, retraction is not yet complete, but I'm reasonably sure it will be within another year. By all means visit your GP if you wish, though you may find he/she will tell you the same in their own words.

I must add that some men with a degree of phimosis continue to have mutually successful and pleasurable sexual intercourse into adulthood with their partners. Though preferably, a fully retractable foreskin rolling back and forth in the act of penetration is ideal.

Thank you, that what I've also thought!

Good for you. I wish you all the best!

I agree don't worry about it. The adhesion will eventually go away. The age at which the foreskin and glans separate varies greatly. You are completely in normal range. Be glad your parents didn't circumcise you at at birth. Don't let a doc talk you into it now.

Thank you for your help!
