I have a small raised patch on the head of my penis that doesn’t seem to be responding to the anti-fungal cream the doctor prescribed.
I applied the same cream - Clotrimazole - every day for a couple of weeks prior to visiting the doctor and it didn’t help. I went to the doctor when the cream ran out. Now I’m using the same cream from the doctor and have been advised to apply it three times a day for two weeks.
The doctor doesn’t think it’s penile cancer, but I can’t get that possibility out of my head and it’s causing me a great deal of anxiety.
I’ve had red rashes before, but they always disappear after a short while. This patch seems to be more permanent.
I am working myself into a state by googling penile cancer images. I’m worried the red patch will grow and it will be too late to treat and I’ll end up losing my penis.
