So fed up all I wanna do is sleep😭

Woke up with a racing heart!!!! I hate this it's half 5 in the morning I feel like I can't breathing my hearts racing super fast can this really be anxiety? I'm jusy so scared I duno how to cope in these situations I just panic and it makes everything 10 times worse!!!!!! 😩. Every since Iv stopped taking my mirtizapine my sleeping has been bad! Does anyone Get this ? I'm scared I'll go into cardic arrest or my heart will jusy give up , when will me always feeling like this end I'm so fed up 😔

Morning Michaela, How are you feeling now ?? Worried, stressed, wondering

why me .Just recently I have been down the same road  panic, sets in, which

appears to make it worse. I started doing a breathing exercise that works  I di it

everywhere no one can tell, Take a deep breath through your nose, hold it for a

few seconds ,then let it out slowly through your mouth .Do this and you will

find that your heart calms down gradually

Your heart is a tough machine but needs a bit of TLC  stress puts it into

alert mode as it tries to help So. what are you waiting for START now. I

bet it works

Hello it's calmed down abit! Finally!! Been awake half the night. hate when my heart beats really fast for no reason makes me more panicky 😰, do u have where u hearts beating really fast for no reason? Hope ur ok x

Yes , and of course because it's so quiet at night .it makes it seem louder

I put the radio on  (4 'cos it's all talk ) and do a bit of deep breathing , on my back .put your fingers on your pulse on your wrist, and you can feel it

slowing down

I know I'm constantly checking my pulse! I'm obsessed with it can't help it. I can't breath out of one nostril so I looked up there and one side of my nostril is so imflammed now. IM WORRYING it's going to block my nose and I'll stop breathing

A trip to a chemist sounds like your next step Pharmacists are as good as

doctors, only quicker  They will advise you on your nose Breath through

mouth  until you get there

Yeah I will do. Thankyou x

Good ,and tell me what happens  I would come with you just to make sure

you go x

I'm under the crisis team so I'll just see if they got any doctors and ask him about it! Haha wish u could come to where abouts r u from x

Up't North .I suppose you live !Darn Sarf !!!!

What are you crisising  (new word ) about ????????????

An enflamed nose is not a crisis .it's a pain .You will probably be told to

stick your head over a bowl of hot water ,or use one of those stick things

for blocked sinus, seeing as you only have one blockage

Lol I know a crisis team will not help with the pain but they have a doctor there so I can see him about the situation. He's the one that made me stop my mirtizapine n start certraline last night I was shaking all my jaw and hands then my chest started coming out in blotches!! So need to see doctor.d

Are you doing it today?

Yup I have to see them everyday otherwise I'll be hospitalised!

Hope you have some breakfast before you go . Very important meal

have a good visit, and come back with two functioning nostrils

SO!!!!! do you live south of WATFORD GAP ???

I don't eat breakfast really! N thankyou lol, I live in Luton if u ever heard of it about half an hour to 45 mins drive from London x

I know EVERYWHERE Michaela ,even flown from your airport

You are a tad too far away from Sheffield to pop in for a cuppa ,so we will just have to make do with the chit chat   As the saying goes ""It's good to talk ""

Hello Michaela.  Try and calm down...I know it's not easy but you can do it. When you say you gave up mirtizapine was this your choice or on your GP's recommendation? Did you come off it slowly or just stop like that? Either way you need to see your GP as it's obvious you cannot manage without taking something and only your GP can decide what that should be. The sooner you see him the better and mention you aren't sleeping. He may be able to give you something to help you in the short term. Take care.

hello michaela, im sorry to hear your anxiety is so bad. have you tried prozac for your anxiety? or betablockers for the palpitations. i wouldnt suffer with it i wld ell yourdoctor ive had anxiety for years and years but i keep telling my mental health team and i would advise you to as well.  hope  feel better soon
