so happy to have found this forum

Hi all,

So happy to have found this forum! Have been diagnosed since about two months now. The pain i´ve been experiencing for about a year now. Doctor has prescribed me zaldiar for now and it does work. It makes the pain less sharp and I am able to do my daily routine. Still it is an emotional condition cause the pain gives me anxiety and that is no fun to put it mildly. I´ll start reading and answering...No native speaker here so sorry for the way I writewink

Hi

I have had it since 2012,in the beginning it used to get me really down.My pain specialist told me it could take years for me to be pain free.I try to lead a stress free life I tried so many different pain killers and now take co-codamol when it is really bad.All the best Millie

Hi

very pleased that you have found a cure. Nortripytline 30 mgs wors well for me.

c

I looked up Zaldiar - looks like another version of Ultram - Tramadol.

Unfortunately, that did nothing for me ....

Hi Millie,

Thank you for responding. It can also get me down. I mean not to know if en when it will go away. Also the pain is not always the same or related to the same circumstances. I try to link them together, maybe with time it will make some sence or not. I hear you about a stress free life...trying to but not always succeeding. Hope your medacation works for you...but I see you have tried several already...

All the best!

Hi caitlin,

I sure home the zaldiar will work after a longer period of time. Your medication is a anti depressive isnt it? My dokter also mentioned those to me...is your pain acceptable or is it gone?...

Take care!

Sorry to hear it doesnt work for you, hope it will work for me also after a longer period of time. Do you use medication for now that do help you?

Take Care!

Hi

You will see a light at the end of the tunnel.Stay strong.

Hi Lobsang.

Amitriptline used to be used as an anti-depressant but they found out it also helps  nerve pain.  the Nortriptyline is a new generation of the same family of drugs but is more geared towards nerve pain & inflammation. It worked a treat for me.  I had the the Costochondritis for 4 years. It was agony.

Today was not a good day to start with. I had a good night sleep. Then I woke up and there was this pain. I was realy crying! Not that it hurted that much, I was just sick of it! Took my pill...went to go on my daily routine and then was happy to feel the anxiety go away, togheter with the pain. So all ended well today for now!

Keep it up everyone!

Has anyone ever used triggerpoint massage tools? I am now juggling, with those rubber balls against a wall to massage my back Hope it will help!

Better day today, walked for a good hour...now relax modus on!

Cheers
