Hi… I’m new here and very very nervous about my situation. i was away on a trip a week ago and pretty sure I had unprotected sex. Unfortunately I was black out drunk, but am assuming it happened. A couple of days after being home, I developed a fever and then burning while urinating. In the last few days I’ve had discomfort in general in the region, but have not noticed any sores but have noticed a different discharge.. I am waiting for my test kit to come, but looking for any similar situations here. of course googling this has not been healthy, but i am terrified of the outcome. has anyone experienced a fever of over 100 for 4 + days during the primary outbreak? thought i had covid but that came back negative as well. thanks.

It sounds like it may be gonorrhea. It is frightful, but you should go take to your primary or health department and get screened for stds as soon as possible and be open when answering questions. In all it sounds like a bacterial infection which can be cleared with antibiotics in 3 days to a week depending on the type of antibiotic.
