Long story short, the past few days ive developed lower back pain with some burning and frequency to urinate. I went to urgent care christmas eve and they diagnosed me with a UTI. They then prescribed me bactrim. After readind reviews of it online i started panicking really bad.. Some people developed whole body rashes,shortness of breath, abd people have even died from being allergic to it!!!!! I just took my first pill about 20 minutes ago and im freaking out waiting for my throat to close up!!! Of course my anxiety is 10x worse and im feeling short of breathe already :(((( so scared!!! But yesterday i was scared to death of developing a kidney infection so idk whats worse!!! HATE ANXIETY!!!!

First of all anxiety is a bitch and I totally relate to how you are feeling, but you are feeding your problem and making it a lot worse, so then you start to think you are having an allergic reaction and the cycle continues. I know it’s difficult but deep breathes and try and calm down. Any tablets you take have side effects and all of them give extreme reactions and say you could die. These cases are so so rare but they have to put them just in case. Please try and calm down you will be fine xx
