Solaraze is used to treat a precancerous skin problem called Actinic Keratosis.

AK, also called solar keratosis, is a precancerous skin disease. Precancerous means that it may develop into cancer. AK causes a dry, scaly, or rough bump to form on your skin. AK is caused by sun exposure.

- Avoid sunlight on treated area.

- Do not use sunscreen, insect repellent, or other drugs on affected part.

- Wash your hands after applying this medicine, unless you are treating the skin on your hands

- Do not use on skin that has any problems.

- Do not use cosmetics (eg, makeup or sunscreens) or other skin care products on the same skin areas where you have applied this medicine.

It's a NSID. you can try it to see if it lessons the effect of the cream . Sometime these creams comes with warnings to stay out of the sun .so it probably a question for your doctor just call the nurse to be on the safe side.
