Hello all,
Hang in there! Just wanted to post that I’ve been so grateful for this forum. Don’t post as much as back in June but I do drop in once in the week to read and comment. Honestly, I’m so glad I found this forum back in June, I was in such a dark place. Thanks to all of you, I managed to keep going. Took my drugs, had some therapy, got back to work, kept the exercise and good diet going, did my meditation, and it’s all starting to pay off. My sleep is still a bit wonky but am at least getting 7 hours most nights now, which hadn’t been the case in over a year.
This is my third time on cit, currently at 10mg for 12 weeks, and although I’m still having the odd day/hour of blip ping here and there, I’m definitely on the way to recovery.
For anyone who’s struggling, please don’t give up. The meds do work, but you really do have to assist yourself too. And please don’t believe that you’ll feel better within three weeks… OK, that may be true for some, but they are in the minority. Its taken me three months to feel kind of 75 per cent back to usual functioning.
Xxx
Thank you Ruth for your positive post, it’s always good to hear a success story. So glad you are on your way to a full recovery. I’m sure we can all take some hope from this😊
Such a lovely message, thank you for sharing, am so happy for you that you are feeling much better. What a journey this can be!
