Its VP and not herpes. Its not an infection so dont worry. Some women develop VP and others dont .

It probably will…its part of your normal anatomy. If you can…ask your Mum if she has them…its thought that this is is often inherited. If they really bother you they can be removed by a professional but often they just grow back. Dont try to remove them yourself by scrubbing or vigorous rubbing…it will make them worse. Just wash very gently as normal.
