Someone Please Help Me

Hi all, Ive suffered from heart flutters for years now, but recently I have had an episode that im sure is signaling soon death. Usually when I have the flutters, they last a couple seconds and then go away. The other day I had a moment where I felt like my heart stopped for a few seconds followed by an intense heaviness in my head like I was about to pass out. Does anyone else get this? I have had 2 echocardiograms, severla EKGs, a stress test, and chest x-rays and doctors are saying there is nothing wrong but this CANT be normal. I know I am going to die soon

Hi. It’s scary, isn’t it?
How old are you, so we can determine the likely cause?
If you have had all the tests it is probably anxiety. Echocardiograms determine possible structural defects in the heart. If they came out ok, the only possibility of heart issues is clogged arteries due to age and an unhealthy lifestyle (only possible over 40). The exercise tolerance test will have rules out angina and other issues.
I have had moments where my heart seems to stop in the past. It is usually stress of caffeine. Three years ago I was sure I was going to die that night, so I put all my stuff in a carrier bag in the bin, and left notes for people who would find me. Last year I went to an anxiety support group because I figured if I died at least someone would be there or find my body. I’m still here (touch wood).
Whereas ECGs only give a snapshot of the electrical activity in your heart at the time, if you had anything chronic it would be picked up.

actually, it can be normal when you have anxiety that is severe. you are not going to die soon. Anxiety can have hundreds of different symptoms many of which can cause heart flutters, a pause in the heartbeat, heaviness feeling in the head or pressure. I have had all of those.
if something were abnormal it would have shown up on your tests. Think of what is causing anxiety in your life. Work? Family? Relationships? Even if you don’t feel anxious, there can still be an underlying anxiety that is causing your symptoms. See if you can discuss things with a counselor. It’s difficult to try to manage anxiety on your own. they can be very helpful as I have found. Try to relax your mind as much as possible. I listen to meditations for anxiety, proper breathing, etc. on YouTube and they put me completely at ease. I’ve had anxiety since the age of five I am now in my 50s and none of those symptoms have ever hurt me. You just need some support right now. When you overthink this, the symptoms can get worse. take it easy and try not to take things too seriously.

Hi,

im 22 at the moment. after some time, I was able to deal with the chest flutters, but recently i had two episodes that made me dizzy and i usually never get dizzy.

I’m pretty sure that anyone who has had positive echocardiograms who is aged 22 has virtually zero risk of having a heart attack, if that helps. If you had been 60 and living a long time unhealthy lifestyle then maybe.
