someone that can really reply, please do? I am pan

Hi everyone, basically, i hv been worried the past week.  Please reply if you think i should take this seriously.  Currently i am ill with a viral infection.  Although 2 days before the cough started i felt a weakness in my legs, and now a little bit in my arms.  I am overweight and do not exercise at all.  It is important to mention that i suffered bacterial meningitis in June 2014.  The doctors said i would be able to live my life as normal as it was after my antibiotic treatment was going to finish.  Despite the fact i had fatigue and weakness, i was also dizzy and occasionally loosing my balance.  Altough at the moment, my legs feel weak and fatigued, my arms the sam, quite dizzy and muscle twiching.  It is also important t o add that i have done an MRI scan and lumbar puncture when i got ill, 6 months ago, were there able to show anything?  And what do you guys think ?  Is my fatigued caused from my June incident, or is it something new.

Sergio, stop worrying - it is the worst thing you do, if you have

MS. Go to a good Neurologist, show him your MRI X rays, if you have - very important. He will either say you have MS, or not. If he says you have not, got MS, go ahead and enjoy your life without worrying. If he says you have MS - as least you know. I have MS - you do not die from it. I am on no disease modyfying drug, but vitamins, good diet. That together with postive thinking will get you through.  I do not see my Neurologist now, but go to an excellent wholistic general practioner, Hope I have been of help.

I have had MS since 1993.  I was 38.  My symptoms keep getting a little worse each year.  Sine 2011 I have not been able to run so I gained 20 pounds and my symptoms are getting exponentially worse.  The weight adds to my fatigue symptoms which makes everything worse.  I am trying to get on my recumbent bike more often and ride at least 3 mioles every day but it's very cold outside.  Today it should be about 50 so I'll try to get out today.  Get the weight off.  It's most important, it will make you feel better.

Thank you Anne, ur reply has been emotionally helpful.  I will try and calm down, and see if my weakness persists for another week.  If it does, then i will go to see a neurologist.  In the meantime, i will try and change my diet to the better.

Hey mate.  You must be right, the fat on me doesnt help at all.  I am always questioning my body pains and weaknesses.  Well, i am 40 pounds overweight.  Whether i have ms or not, as u said the weight will make me slower and weaker.  Thank you.

My legs feel like someone strapped spats on my ankles.  Every hour or so they add 5 more pounds to each side.  By the end of the day I can barely pick my legs up to walk without tripping.  Weight is everything when the disease keeps adding pounds I don't really have.  I need to start out as light as possible so I can make it through the entire day without falling.
