Was massaging my knee last night ( 10 weeks tkr )
I could feel a little hard round lump just under knee cap and wheni bent my knee i had like a hollow shape at side even my husband said it looked diffrent was very strange can't feel it this morning

Hi, I don't think its actually anything to worry about, as long as it isn't painfull, I too have a big dip in the left side , to the side of knee cap at the bottom, I also have a lump above the knee cap, , it is very hard the bit under knee cap I think they re shaped my bone or somthing, and the top bit varies depending on time of day, but neither hurt, my surgeon did notice it, but didn't say anything , so that's why I assume it's normal. Hope that help. But if it hurts, get it looked at.👍

I now have a knee that looks like a knee its been swollen with arthritis for 4 years so maybe its just more swelling going down n my new knee emerging lol

I have no clue. Are you experiencing any pain? How is your mobility? Have you contacted your orthopedic team? Keep them in the loop.
That is what you want is for it to return to looking like a knee. If no pain,no decreased mobility, roll with it.
I remember as swelling went down that I had those indented areas to! Ahhh so that is what a knee should look like! Lol. Like Mandy said, as long as not accompanied by pain, not as worrisome.
I had this a bit and now I have gained a 'normal' crease in my knee and it matches the other knee - hopfully its normal as other replies suggest but seek advice if it feels wrong - you know your own body
