Sometimes dizziness after standing up from sitting for awhile

i dont understand whats causing this . sometimes when i sit awhile and stand up i get like 5 secs of feeling woozy. i had all my heart test done which were normal. im on high blood pressure medication . i have gallstones and deal with bad gas issues and anxiety.

vertigo is often 24/7 at least mine is. Maybe if you try getting up a little slower. Just a thought.

Sounds like postural hypotension… not uncommon when taking high blood pressure meds. Try pumping/flexing your legs before standing up. And stay well hydrated.

i take pendoprial 8mg . and i always dont feel dizzy when standing up its sometimes . ive had all my heart test done to . is postrual hypotension serious
