So I took my last pill of Valacyclovir this morning. My question is why am I so extremely itchy now? Is that part of the sores/blisters heeling??
When I pee there's the slightest tingle (thank goodness)now. As gross as this will sound I can finally almost completely wipe I had to dap for the passed 9 days. The slightest touch I wanted to cry.
When i feel itchy I put pressure on my vagina (while wearing clothes) no skin to skin contact and the discharge is very very slight now.
Can the sores possibly be going away!! This might be a miracle. Maybe I'll be able to over come this.
yes it's most likely they are going away! just like any cut when they are healing they get itchy. if they are starting to hurt less it's mostly likely the wound it's as open and raw as before! i hope it clears up soon for you xx
Have you ever gotten swollen from an outbreak?! Even the doctors felt horrible from how swollen I was. I was only swollen where I had the sores.
My swelling finally started going down too which I hope that's a sign of the sores going away.
i did notice overall my vagina was quite swollen my sore was quite small but so so painful and that was my first outbreak. i take valtrex and took it 3 times a day for 10 days on the 6th day i noticed it was gone but i did have an urge to scratch the sore as it was itchy
I'm just happy I can pee!! The small things that make me happy. Okay just wanted to be completely sure that it's somewhat normal to get swollen. The welling made me a tad bit more nervous.
I'm going to talk to my doctor about the valtrex instead of the other one I'm on if and when I do have another outbreak.
on my persription for valtrex it says 2 a day for 3 days but my family doctor told me to take 3 a day for 10 days whenever i have an outbreak so if you wanna do the same on your next outbreak i highly recommended it ! xx
So I'm assuming your doctor had to represcribe it to you so you had more pills.
actually no, the packet has 30 pills in it so it works out perfectly
Ohhhh it comes in a packet! The one I'm on just comes in a bottle with a certain about of pills in it! I got it now, sorry was confused
Some people have the 3 some have the 2 yes swelling is normal and redness acyclovir and valtrex are mostly used mine come in a bottle as well. I hope you start to feel better soon
