Sopping

Hi all other Hippies . 6 weeks post op and just driven myself to supermarket and did a bit of shopping . Fine but tiring . Also booked a cruise for end of May . Didn't think I would be doing that in my 4 the week . Hope it keeps on getting better . X anyone out there from wales ? X

well done on driving had my op 18th feb so not driving yet myself. Enjoy your cruise, we r hoping to go to Italy again but not sure have to see how recovery goes

Hope you get there . Went to lake garda last year it was brill . Cruising because I am travelling alone and it's easier with luggage .

How great, im 3 weeks post op and bit bored, not long o wait so an book a holiday and get back to work as I am a workaholic.

Lovely! I do love hearing positive news.

I'm day 11 post op and have a holiday booked for the end of May. We always go to my bro's apartment in Spain and this year we will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary and hopefully we will be able to have some nice walks and not have to take the car everywhere.

i can't wait to be able to drive again. I have a lovely 2 seater convertible on the drive and she's calling my name!

Hi Mary, I have just returned from a cruise having had THR 11 weeks ago. No problems. By the end of May you will be raring to go. Enjoy.

Don't overso things and make sure your improvement is slow but steady. You will have days when you are aching and tired but in time all will be well

I am a quarter welsh - does that count ?

oh my gosh, I have friends that live there! Was amazed at how cold the water was the first time I went (In August!) -- it is glacial lake .... so beautiful and lots to explore including a castle about 20 min by bus

I was on the list for 15 months so by time I went in I didn't have a nerve in my body . Just glad to be there . I think I am doing well 7 weeks this week . Good luck
